ABSTRACT
The objective of the present work is to provide lineaments that facilitate a good strategy search of information automated during the process of investigation, doing reference to the correct use of the medical terminology; as well as the elaboration of algorithms, using the boleanos operators (and, or and not), in order that the results that the suitable data base emits are the suitable ones which will help us to optimize resources and time. One of the data bases that facilitates the information retrieval, given their accessibility and cover, is for the biomedical terminology: Medical Subject Heading (MESH), of Medicine the National Library of the United States, or its translation to spanish: Description in Sciences of Health (DECS) elaborated by BIREME. For support in the search of the biomedical area in general, where books and magazines are included, we counted with PUBMED, identifying the task of locating excellent information.
