ABSTRACT
Different medical disciplines use stents to treat a wide range of diseases. Tracheobronchial obstruction management is a formidable challenge to both pneumologists and general thoracic surgeons, whom require adequate training and knowledge about available types of stents and mainly a correct comprehension of the numerous pathological conditions in which stenting is indicated properly, such as potential complications to the application of these prosthesis. The aim of the present paper is to contribute to this topics, and intends to be a complete review on this subject.KEYWORDS
