ABSTRACT
Endobronchial tuberculosis is an uncommon manifestation of
tuberculosis. We report here an 8.5 years old female patient who presented a pneumonic process in the right lower region that persisted in spite of several antimicrobial agents. During the bronchoscopy study nodular lesion that occluded the posterior segment of the right lower lobe could be observed.Biopsies from this lesion and from an axilar lymphatic node showed granulomatous lesions. Due to the strong suspicion of tuberculosis, treatment was started with isoniacid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, ethambutol and prednisone, with remission of the symptoms and resolution of the radiological image.
