ABSTRACT
Interventional pulmonology is been growing up in past few years, new technology, diagnostic and therapeutic equipment are already available and new procedures have improved the treatment of pleural and pulmonary diseases. Some of those, rigid bronchoscopy, endobronchial laser surgery and airway stents placement are important tools for trained pulmonologist in malignant or nonmalignant airway diseases. These review remarks special aspects of these procedures regarding to indications, technical approaches, complications, etc. in order to understand how useful could those procedures are in our practice.
