ABSTRACT
Despite technological advances in the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension, medical history and physical examination are still considered fundamental as screening method provided the theoretical aspects, their foundations and their limitations are mastered. With the identification of the risk factors, the exclusion of those entities that are part of the differential diagnosis, an adequate auscultation and the analysis of the set of clinical variables obtained, provides important clues that could assist in the detection as early as possible of the disease or contribute to the follow-up of these patients.KEYWORDS
