La hiperplasia adenomatosa atípica es una lesión premaligna; se le considera un potencial precursor de adenocarcinomas, son lesiones pulmonares periféricas detectables a través de la tomografía computada de tórax, se presenta un caso de hiperplasia adenomatosa atípica con sus características por imagen e histología.
