Neumología y Cirugía de Tórax (NCT) is the official scientific publication of the Sociedad Mexicana de Neumología y Cirugía de Tórax and INER Ismael Cosío Villegas, being it the journal’s main funding source.

The journal is firmly committed to the Open Access initiative. It does not charge any fees for the production or publication of articles, and all content is published with free and unrestricted access for readers under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
